What a week it has been! The farm crew has been trying to bust out Adam’s task list of “possible” items to get done, and beat the heat. That means early mornings and many late evening tasks, and lots of sunscreen and wide brimmed hats.
This week we have ground beef available to you from our friends just down the road on 143. The Koopal’s raise cattle next to Snowville Creamery, and have 1# packages available as an add on purchase for you. Their beef is pasture-raised on a diet of mostly pasture, with minimal grain at some point in their lives. $6.50/#. If you pick up at the market and choose to order beef, please try to pick up your share as early as possible, as it will be hot and we can’t keep it frozen for you at market.
With our Flowers and Friends event happening this week, we don’t have extra flowers to offer. However, keep in mind our bulk flower buckets for your arranging pleasure in future weeks. For $50, you receive 50-60ish stems, which can build 2-3 big bouquets. Great for ladies nights, dinner parties, or gift giving fun.
