So, we made it! All the way through the summer! It's been a ride to remember for us farmers, and I hope that it's been a blessing to you. Your presence in our lives has certainly been a blessing to us. For that, we thank you heartily!
Unfortunately, we will not be there to see you off into the fall. And, our worker, Justin, is unavailable. So, my cousins, and fellow CSA customers, Megan and Chad will be manning the helm tomorrow – with the help of our little girls, of course. So all will be in good hands, but be patient with them as we have thrown them into this quite last minute!
We're in Portland this week, and true to form, one of the first things we did was... visit the gardens. ha! And we found some big trees...
So, this is it! I hope you've enjoyed the veggies. And I hope you'll jump back in for the fall and next summer.
More sweet corn this week, peppers and eggplant and tomatoes for fruit, and GREENS are back this week.
