Hello Farm Share members! We’re gearing up for Main Season Boxes and want to be sure you don’t miss out on any deliveries. The last of the Winter Bounty shares will be delivered the week of May 24, time is flying! If you haven’t already placed your order you’ll need to sign up before May 24 to receive delivery the first week of June. Now is a great time to verify that your order is just the way you want it - check your box size, add-ons, delivery location and schedule, and set or update your preferences for the season - you can log in to your account here. Once logged into your account click on DELIVERIES in the menu to view boxes and their scheduled deliveries. You can view your orders from the menu under MY PROFILE > ORDERS, then click the +details button. Contact farmers@daybreakgrowersalliance.com if you have questions or would like assistance making order adjustments. Please note that after May 24th it may take until the next delivery cycle for any changes to take effect.
This Week in Boxes: Fiddleheads, pea tendrils, lettuce heads, chard and kale all make their way into boxes and Appleton Creamery goat cheese is back and in the Extras section!
Update from Dig Deep Farm
The soil is warming up and we are all happy to be out working in the field - we've seeded our first round of sugar snap peas which will make their way into Daybreak Boxes in early July.
We had our best winter season with our micro greens after many seasons of tinkering. And after a trialing fall of 2020 and uncertainty of a winter kale crop - we've had a decent early spring crop! The leaves are tender, juicy, and sweet - great for salads or quickly sauteed.
