If you were looking for an item early in the customization period and it wasn't available it's worth checking at the end of customization as people may have swapped it out of their box.
Happy official start of summer! Strawberry season is in full swing and the field crops are coming in. The first radicchios are here and small amounts (grab 'em quick!) of peas, zucchini and summer crops starting to show up. The very first tomatoes and bunched carrots are just around the corner. We had a bustling pack out day at Daybreak yesterday preparing the first batch of shipments for the week. We are overjoyed packing your farm boxes in anticipation of you and your family receiving them. We hope you are finding ways to celebrate these crops in the form of summer picnics, BBQs and feasting with friends and family. As always, thanks for your support of Daybreak and Maine farms!
Update from Ironwood Farm
June flew by at Ironwood Farm. We’ve been sooo busy planting, weeding and watering. Greens are coming out of the fields by the truckload, garlic scapes came and went, and we’re flat out prepping ground for storage carrots.
As much as we love the summer hustle, we also love putting the picnic table in the back of the truck for a “farmers night out”. Thanks for eating your vegetables ya’ll!!
