Update from New Beat Farm
We are buttoning up for winter here at New Beat Farm. Fields are out to bed with nice stands of cover crop, we’re bringing in our supplies and equipment into storage in these little bursts of nice weather, our greenhouses that have been producing mountains of produce for us for the past 8 months are slowing their production and we’ll soon be wrapping up harvesting from then till next April. We are excited about a new greenhouse we just completed that will double our current greenhouse production space, growing more greens and heat loving crops for your Farm Boxes next season.
We cherish this brief quieter period on farm before we start turning to the coming season. We’ve even gotten a few sled runs in before the snow melted! Seed catalogs of new varieties to come already litter our kitchen table and new ideas for next year that have been brewing in our minds all season are starting to get put down on paper.
