We have been enjoying an explosion of growth with all this rain. That means there has been an explosion of weed growth as well. We spent all day today pulling weeds and there is still plenty of weeds left to pull tomorrow.
Friday was our first farmers market at the Elk Rapids Farmers Market! We saw a few familiar faces and got to know a few new faces too. We sold lots of yummy greens and radishes. My cousin Dustin has been staying with us for the summer and he baked spent grain bread and ciabatta bread. We have been loving all the great bread that he has been baking for us so I'm sure there will be some happy customers next week.
