Tomatillos, summer squash, oh my! If you haven't tried tomatillos you are about to get your chance. They are a wonderfully versitle fruit which can be eaten raw or sauteed. These will be long days that will lead to some very delicious and nutritious chicken. This is the worst part of raising birds for meat but it's good to know that they got to live their best chicken life before their D day.

Fainting Robin is a biointensive, herbicide , and pesticide free farm just outside of Traverse City in Williamsburg Michigan. We strive to preserve farmings genetic diversity by using heirloom seeds, and heritage breeds. We believe in using growing practices that leave the land better than we found it.
