Week 15
We hope you have been enjoying the peppers so far this season!
It's so cool to walk in the pepper tunnel and see them turning
red and yellow from green.
Some areas have dried up a bit and Pat was able to get some
beds prepped and seeded with some fall greens including stirfry
mix, lettuce, arugula, turnips and radishes! We have high hopes
these crops will be successful and we will have some delicious
late crops that we haven't been able to have all season.
It has been a really challenging growing season for farmers all
over the province and it's catching people's attention in the news
this week. Tune in to learn more about the struggles of farmers
and how much our local food system is under stress.
