We have been working hard at turning over more of our greenhouse spaces this week! We tore out most of the cucumbers, topped all of the pepper plants (so they will ripen quickly and uniformly) and pulled a couple varieties of tomatoes.

This past week we managed to turn over some of the greenhouse spaces and seed most of the cover crops needed in the new blocks Pat has created for veggie production next year. With the wonderful rain we have been getting, the cover crops have all germinated and are looking great!

It has been so nice to get a rainfall every so often this past little while. It keeps us on our toes and foils our daily plans sometimes, but I would take that any day over a drought!

Pop-Up Shares available for Aug 15th pickup at the farm
This week we have our first "Pop-Up Shares" available to for pickup at the farm on Saturday Aug 15th between 9 am-noon.
We have a selection of tomatoes, kale, scallions, and chard available from our gardens along with some other local products including:

It's been getting a bit chilly at night recently...I can definitely feel a change coming!!
