Hope you're all staying dry and warm! September was here and gone in a flash and is leaving us with chills and damp weather! We hope you'll be anxious to try out all sorts of cozy, warming fall recipes using all our fall bounty.
All of the onions, leeks, potatoes and even TURNIPS are ready to go into your soups!
We do still have salad mix and spinach, arugula and even micro-greens (peas, radish and broccoli) so you can keep enjoying salad! Tomatoes too!
Green Beans are back too! By the pound ready to cook and eat or freeze or can some more for winter!
I saw an interesting recipe today for a sweet potato soup with yogurt! We have both of those items as well. Try it and let us know how it goes!
There will not be the sweet corn we had hoped this Saturday, due to worms getting to it, but if anyone is still canning and wants seconds we would be able to salvage some for $46 per bushel. Contact us.
Also we have LOTS of peppers and tomatoes still! You can choose by the half bushel quantity for your box if you'd like to make some salsa! Onions too!
Let us know what we can bring for you and round out the month with some wonderful recipes to warm your home and family!
Thank you!
