Hi everyone! Welcome to the first week of our Fall CSA! If this is your first week, this is such a great time to be starting out - we have so many delicious vegetables to choose from! This combination of the end of summer with some staple veggies like kale that we can't grow in the peak summer is just such a delight. And if you're new or returning, check out the extras section this week. We've added a bunch of dried herbs and herbal teas grown and preserved by our friend Shelley at Hydes Hill Herbs. You can now also purchase dozens of chicken eggs from Kitchen Girl Farm a la carte. We hope you enjoy these special local treats!

About the farm
Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco, Maryland. We are a Certified Naturally Grown farm and use beyond organic growing practices. By farming with the health of our land and customers as our guide, we ensure you the highest quality and safest produce. We use sustainable growing practices to protect our soil and waterways. We supply our customers in the Baltimore and DC regions with delicious, nutritious food that’s always fresh.
We founded the farm in June of 2016. We grow vegetables year-round thanks to our two high tunnels. Our farm provides a diversity of crops for our Community Supported Agriculture program plus wholesale quantities of unique varieties of storage crops like potatoes, winter squash and sweet potatoes.
Our name comes from our shared love of our three dogs, who remind us to live simply and have fun every day.
