We hope everybody had/is having an awesome Thanksgiving holiday! We're writing from Bryan's parents' house in Florida where we're enjoying some sun and relaxation before we come back to finish out the season. There are only 3 more weeks of CSA shares (including next week's box on December 4th and 5th,) so we're gearing up to think about 2020 CSA shares! We should have sign ups for 2020 open very soon with an earlybird discount - we'll send out an email with more details as soon as they're all set. We'll also have a survey out to you very soon - we'd love your feedback so that we can plan accordingly for 2020! About the farm
Good Dog Farm is a 25-acre vegetable farm in Upperco, Maryland. We are a Certified Naturally Grown farm and use beyond organic growing practices. By farming with the health of our land and customers as our guide, we ensure you the highest quality and safest produce. We use sustainable growing practices to protect our soil and waterways. We supply our customers in the Baltimore and DC regions with delicious, nutritious food that’s always fresh.
We founded the farm in June of 2016. We grow vegetables year-round thanks to our two high tunnels. Our farm provides a diversity of crops for our Community Supported Agriculture program plus wholesale quantities of unique varieties of storage crops like potatoes, winter squash and sweet potatoes.
Our name comes from our shared love of our three dogs, who remind us to live simply and have fun every day.
