Definitely Summer. Here come the tomatoes. I try to eat a tomato a day in summer when they are at their best. Right now, I am focusing on eating them as a side, sliced or chopped with some olive oil and salt and pepper. But, you might be ready to jump ahead to dinner: Andira's Summer Tomato Salad. It is a mixture of fresh tomatoes, avocado, boiled eggs, Kalamata olives, and possibly cheese or basil, your choice.
