The fall growing season is officially underway and for Village Farm Vegetable Share members that means an exciting shift to our cool weather crops! A few of our summer holdouts such as okra, peppers, and eggplant will continue to produce in early fall before we transition entirely over to our cold-tolerant crops. Expect to see a wide diversity of vegetables including baby greens, kale, Swiss chard, collard greens, mustards, lettuce, radishes, beets, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and more from late October and into the winter months. And as always, our farm is USDA Certified Organic and our veggies are harvested the morning of delivery so you get the freshest, healthiest food possible.
As a reminder, we offer Free Home Delivery every Thursday for our members as a benefit of being a Harvest Green resident. That said, we love to have members visit the farm and encourage everyone to come out to see what's growing on throughout the year! We also have special events and pizza nights planned for Vegetable Share and Farm Club members so stay tuned for more info!
