It's the last week of the summer CSA! We have apples available this week - you know it must be closing in on fall! Feeling a little bittersweet over here as the cooler nights and milder days roll in, signaling the big shift in seasons to come. It's been a wonderful season, tough times, as always, on a farm, come and go and can definitely make the day to day challenging. Keeping the big picture in mind is what sustains us and keeps the farm moving forward. I spent some time last night scrolling through photos long after I should have gone to bed, and looking at some of the pictures from our first years on the farm, it really struck me how momentous the growth of the farm and our vision has been. Fall is always the time for reflection and gratitude and we're for sure feeling it here!

As this week is the last Summer Share delivery, this weekend is the last window to reschedule shares that you have on hold.
Email the farm at farmers@harvesttideorganics.com if you need assistance getting shares rescheduled.
Not sure what to do with extra shares? We've added some bulk options of veggies that will store happily in your crisper for months to add to extra boxes this week. Look for 5 lb bags of onions, carrots, beets, and potatoes in the swap items this week.

If you have any held shares from previous weeks, and would like to reschedule them for your last summer delivery, please email us at at farmers@harvesttideorganics.com to do so. This must be done BY 6pm SUNDAY, but the earlier the better! We cannot make changes or add shares after Sunday, as we are bound by the laws of time, space, parenting, and need of sleep.
**Please note! Since this is the last week of Summer deliveries, you cannot hold or reschedule this week's share. If you cannot make pickup, please have a friend or family member pick up your share for you this week, as we cannot offer refunds for any missed boxes.**
Lastly - WE have MORE eggs! We have been coming up short on eggs for week as our wonderful supplier has been dealing with feed issue that affected their production. We are excited to announce that we have found another amazing supplier! Sparkplug Farm in Leeds has amazing, pasture raised eggs available for us, and thus for you! Their hens are raised outdoors on pasture and are fed organic grain. Their eggs are no certified organic, but Sparkplug is expecting to finish it's transition to organic in the spring. Look for their eggs in our extras!
