Welcome!
We're so excited to kick off the 2019 season! Thank you so much for joining us, for your patience with our new CSA operating system AND for your understanding about our slow start. Off like a herd of turtles, here we go!
If any of you know how to make the weather do what you want it to, please let us know. Lots of rainy, cloudy, cold days have been tricky to manage but we're working hard at it and laughing along the way. That being said, we've reached out to some friends of ours to help us fill your plates with tasty spring variety this week. Scott and Colin both went to Fleming College for sustainable agriculture and are now growing organically on their own farms in Omemee and Fenelon Falls respectively. Farmers have to stick together! Scott is providing some lovely rhubarb and Colin's got some radishes to share. With some more sun and a little more time our veggies will really get going but for now we're grateful to these farmer friends for sharing their bounty with us and you, and they're glad to have someone taking it off their hands.
Can't wait to see you on farm or at one of our weekly drop-offs!
