Well I am short on words today! Not much new other then the long days of harvesting for our extra fall Farmers Markets and Festivals, last week saw us at the PTBO VegFest; this week you will find us at Millbrook Market, the PTBO Purple Onion Festival, and UOIT in addition to our regular markets! Then we host Kawartha FarmFest & Durham Gates Open, Saturday,October 5th- 11am to 4pm! So come if you like for a farm tour and meet the animals!As well, we will have some potato digging demonstrations, and a row cultivating demonstration with the team at 3pm! Tickets for FarmFest are available for 5$ it is a self guided car tour.
We are also busy planting winter greens & hauling in our winter storage crops, so we can share then all winter in your Winter CSA boxes!
Another note in preparation for Thanksgiving we have two ham roasts available through Harvie, and call to order your Thanksgiving turkey! There are limited quantities so speak up quickly! I will have a list of the sizes shortly. My number is 905-986-9612.
