Hello All!
Hope you all had a great break over the holidays!Happy New Year!
I apologize this is coming out late, but it is a challenge to kick back in gear again. You feel a little lost even in a familiar environment! We spent the break working the horses and starting Selene's training, which is so rewarding. It is amazing starting a baby you've raised yourself the bond & trust is already there and established, they sense your perception of the world, basically I feel like it is telepathic communication right from day one.
Seed orders where placed yesterday with all the companies that where open, today I will finalize the last two orders! Garden supplies are ordered and set to be delivered within the next two weeks. The garden plan just needs to be tweaked and the foundation from which we execute the season will be laid.
Big jobs left to do??? Cutting and splitting firewood, and selling all our winter storage crops so we can pay for next seasons start up gear! Imagine that the list does not look to long, but there is also just the daily operations to be done for the rest of the winter months, packing orders, doing chores, and general maintenance.
This week we are adding shoots & sprouts, and frozen options to the list of availability! Edamame & tomatoes in the frozen department, pea shoots & alfalfa in the micro greens division!
We will see you all on Saturday!
Best wishes with your New Years resolution, I am sure you will and can beat the odds and thrive in whatever improvements you have chosen to make!
Cheers your farmer,
Jess
