Hello All!
Sorry for the delay communication. With this heat and frost a few weeks ago we are in a scurry to save our plants. We were selected to be recipients of the Mill City Farmers Market Next Stage and the American Farmland trust to help with the road and the fencing. We are transitioning from Big River Farms to Our lot in Hugo. Address is 4635 165th Street Hugo. We hope that we can have one day this summer where you can visit the farm. We also have a sunflower field we are planting for a photo opportunity with your family. Many things going up including three high tunnels, two caterpillar tunnels. This year with setting up infrastructure and with this scorching hot weather drip irrigating all the water and making sure the well's pressure can suffice all the plants. We are learning and so thank you for your continued patience.
This week despite all of this we were able to work with May Lee our mother at Big River farms to continue renting the High tunnel and green house space and The Good Acre High tunnel to help grow tomatoes, swiss chard and the seedlings. This week we will feature swiss chard, bok choy, asian bok choy with flowers, cilantro, herb pots, radish and mixed lettuce with sage and tyme!
