Most importantly, we want to thank all of you for your support and patience with us. This year had it's ups and downs and through it all, you all stuck by our side and made it very easy for us to deal with our personal challenges while maintaining our farm. This year, I hope we have provided you a variety in produce options, quality in produce freshness and value for your monetary support.
We want to inform you that we have not made a decision on the CSA for 2023. Three years ago, we purchased a piece of land that would become the home to Mhonpaj's Garden. This was a dream in 2007, when we embarked on a journey to commit to growing vegetables organically and responsibly. Our first year consisted of planning and fundraising to put in a well, bring in electricity, purchase and build two hoophouses, put in a road and fence in our production acreage. In year two, we broke ground, took on a drought, dug a well, poured a road, installed a fence and made progress on our hoophouses. In our third year, we fought to keep the farm going in the midst of losing Mhonpaj's father who was an integral part of the farm. Our focus was directed to planting and growing vegetables right off the bat as the season got underway. This took time away from making progress toward our infrastructure needs. We fear that the challenges we face with our infrastructure needs will only hinder our progress in 2023 and following years. We will be taking some time to think through what we need to accomplish to keep our operation going and what 2023 will look like for us. We thank you all once again and will be sure to reach out to you all as soon as we finalized our thoughts.
