Hello Farm-ily, welcome to week #2 of your CSA.
We're still going strong with salad mix, radishes (getting spicy), turnips, kale and chard. The cilantro is perfect this week.
On the horizon: kohlrabi, mini broccoli, the parsley is coming in nicely and before you know it cucumbers and cherry tomatoes from the tunnels.

Who doesn't LOVE a good salad? I make one almost every day for lunch.
It's salad season so try your hand with a homemade salad dressing.
My favorite salad dressing:
Balsamic Vinaigrette
In a 1/2 pint mason jar add 1/2 olive oil, 1/3 balsamic vinegar, 1 Tbls honey and a pinch of salt.
Shake it up and toss it with salad mix, sliced radishes, carrots, diced raw hakurei turnips, toasted walnuts and some gorgonzola cheese. YUM!
I often make this in a pint jar and leave it on the counter so it's ready to use for my daily lunch salad.
Remember to join the FB Farm-ily page for role call. There is a prize to be won-we're raffling off a free OSF T-shirt just for introducing yourself.
Have a great week and remember we're at the
Hereford Farmer's Market every Saturday from 9am-12noon.
