Dear Farm-ily,
As I sit down to write this final newsletter from the Harvie platform, my heart is full of gratitude. What an incredible journey these past four years have been! Together, we’ve explored the freedom of CSA the customizable way, and it’s been a game changer for so many of you. You’ve had the power to exclude foods that don’t suit your family and double up on the ones you love. Even within the boundaries of what’s local and in season, there’s been a joy in learning how to embrace the CSA lifestyle.
And that’s no small thing. In a world where grocery store shelves are stocked with an overwhelming variety, much of it far removed from the soil and season, you’ve chosen to align your plates with the rhythms of nature. You’ve embraced eating more vegetables, eating locally, and perhaps even thinking more deeply about the journey your food takes before it reaches your table. It’s a small act with a mighty impact—for your health, for the planet, and for our community.
Thank you for your commitment to our farm and the other local farms and small businesses we partner with. Truly, *it takes a village* has never felt more true than in the world of local farming. Every choice you make to support us keeps that village thriving.
To those of you joining us for the Winter CSA, an extra big thank you for signing up early and committing to nourishing yourselves with fresh, local produce all year long. I’m excited to eat through the winter with you! Keep sharing your beautiful meals on our Farm-ily Facebook page. Your posts inspire and encourage others to keep growing, learning, and enjoying the abundance of each season.
For the many of you accustomed to being auto-renewed into the next season I will need you to sign up for 2025 and create a new account in CsaWare. It is not open yet. Please look out for the emails in December.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I hope you find moments to reflect on all there is to be grateful for. For me, that list starts with you—my incredible CSA community. Getting to know each of you, hearing your stories, and being part of your food journey fills me with joy. You are my tribe, my extended farm-ily, and I’m so thankful for the trust and support you’ve shown me.
Here’s to another wonderful season. With a big hug and an even bigger THANK YOU, we did it!
