We hope this newsletter finds you well and warm.
It's been an exciting journey so far with our Winter CSA, and we couldn't be happier to share the latest updates.
Navigating the Winter Challenge
Growing food through the winter is no easy feat, and we're learning valuable lessons.
Balancing the delicate act of having enough produce without wasting precious resources will prove a formidable challenge, but one we're tackling head-on. As we embark on this winter experiment, we're grateful for the perfect weather we've been blessed with so far.
Nature's Cooler Bounty
The winter harvest has brought forth some true beauties. We're particularly proud of the stunning watermelon and French breakfast radishes we have to share.
Squeeze every last drop out of your share with our new Radish Green Pesto recipe. The vibrant and spicy greens from the French Breakfast radishes make an absolutely delicious addition to lots of dishes.
The high tunnels are providing a protective shield for our crops against the winter chill. A necessary investment for winter growing, they have allowed us to keep growing despite the tricky temperature fluctuations and the higher need for ventilation during the colder months.
As you look across our fields, you'll see an ocean of white, thanks to the heavy-duty row coverings that keep our precious crops snug and warm during the frosty nights.
So far so good!
A Grateful Thank You
We want to express our sincere gratitude for taking this winter journey with us. Your support and enthusiasm fuel our determination to overcome the challenges of winter farming and provide you with the freshest, most delicious produce.
