Week 24 of Whole Season CSA —Hello, Cool Season Adventure

Posted on November 8th, 2024 by Lisa Duff

Dear Oak Spring CSA Farm-ily,

Does that seem like it went by too fast?

Especially with this crazy warm weather we've been having? It doesn't feel like Fall.

What an incredible season it has been.

As we near the final share of the Whole Season CSA (one more after this one-sorry for the confusion), take a moment to commend yourself on eating better.

What's one new habit you've developed because you've had farm-fresh vegetables at your fingertips all week long?

Your committment to our farm is also a commitment to yourself and your family.  We all eat better when there are fresh nutrititous foods in the fridge. Right? And you're educating you children about the benefits of eating fresh, organic food. Wow, they are willing to try new things and a wider variety of food when they know where their food comes from.

Your support, enthusiasm, and commitment to local, organic food have fueled our farm and kept us inspired throughout the season. Thank you for being part of the Oak Spring Farm family.

But guess what?

The journey doesn’t stop here.

Continue on your localvore journey and continue supporting your health with our *Cool Season CSA* is just around the corner, and we’re ready for you to join us.

It runs from December 3 through May 13, with two holiday breaks (Christmas & New Year’s) and two weeks off in March for spring break.

So we combined our Winter mini and Spring mini seasons into one making it easier on you to eat fresh all season long.
