What a beautiful spring we are having. Hope you enjoyed all your greens last week! Plenty more this week with a little more variety.
We have been scrambling to get the rest of our heat loving crops in the ground like sweet potatoes, peppers, eggplants, basil and tomatoes. Spring cabbages and broccoli are coming along nicely. The strawberries are just coming in! There are a few for sale in the extras and soon we'll have enough to start the fruit share.
If you haven't tried the hakurei turnips yet give them a try! They are a mild, sweet salad turnip great raw with dip and in a salad. My crew loves them steamed tossed in butter and salt-yum!
