Alright folks, let's try this again! Thanks for your patience. We had a very very frozen Saturday before our scheduled 12/18 pick up. Typically we can wait it out to defrost for a 3 hour harvest window but sometimes it doesn't end up thawing out enough to harvest.
This weeks box features some of my favorite winter squashes; most folks will be getting both a honey nut and black futsu squash. Honey nuts are a smaller, sweeter butternut. Great roasted, also great diced and stir fried in a cast iron. Black futsus are nuttier, more pumpkin looking winter squash that makes for great roasting and soup.
