Two more weeks of the 2019 CSA!
The cabbage is ready for harvest - beautiful rows of silver green rosettes. I drive by them as I head up the farm road and it's like having living art decorating the muted colors of the fall fields. I have to admit I will miss the sight of them! If you are a kraut maker, this is the time! The recent heavy rain will make these cabbages crisp and juicy - perfect for kraut. If you have never tried to make it before, it's easier than pie (a heck of a lot easier in my opinion!).
