Hello Rivendale members. As this day heads toward the weekend, it's fun to think ahead to what we will harvest for you next week. Our anticipation levels are high (and our patience a little low) for the abundance of our tomato field to take off. And our cured garlic is just about ready to go. And our melons and new potatoes are just around the corner.
But for now, we are are enjoying the bounty and diversity that we do have--with the cucumbers, zucchini, squash, cabbage, carrots, and more all coming in strong. Before we know it, new items will join and replace these July beauties.
We also want to mention that this will be the first week of the Cut Flower Share. Those of you who ordered the flower option will find your bouquet in a bucket by the CSA boxes at your pick up site. Please look for your name on the flower sleeve.
Have a great weekend. Keep eating your veggies. And please know that we really do love having you in our CSA.
On behalf of the crew,
Neil
ps--This week's picture is of Azziza and Amy planting our second succession of basil. Fittingly, they are right beside our tomatoes!
