Hi CSA members. Gonna be short and sweet tonight. It's been another busy week on the farm. We are pushing through the heat of the last few weeks, starting to wish for the cool Fall season.
It feels like this time of year consists almost solely of harvesting. There are many days that get by us without having a chance to do the field work we wish we could. There are beds to weed and seeds to get in the ground for the winter greenhouse. And somehow most, if not all, of the work will get done....Even if it feels like all we do is harvest.
On behalf of the crew,
Neil
ps--This week's pic is of our beautiful beds of beans. Dragon Tongue wax beans, Rattlesnake pole beans, and good ol' Provider bush beans. They are time-consuming to harvest by hand, but you won't find fresher and nicer beans. We hope you enjoy them if they are in your box.
