As fall quickly approaches, so does the produce offering in your boxes. Enter salad mix, cabbage, and celery, and exit cucumbers and zucchini. A special note on celery: this is not the standard celery you would commonly find on the grocery store shelf and has not been blanched or over-irrigated. Ours is a field grown, heirloom variety that has really robust flavor but can be quite fibrous. The key to using it is to chop it small! For our final three weeks you can look forward to eating more fall spinach, salad, carrots, and turnips. Here's to chilly mornings and colorful leaves!
