It is with heavy hearts that we have come to make a very difficult decision for the farm. We will need to end our CSA season early. September 1st will be the last box for the 2021 season. Our farm has survived two major floods in our 9 year existence. After each of those impacts we were able to regroup and replant and turn out a marketable crop. This year's drought has taken its toll on not only our crops, soil, and animals, but most notably us, your farmers. Given the extreme lack of moisture and record high temps, our harvest window is coming to unseasonably early close. "That's farmin'," as they say.
For those of you who have paid in full for the season, we will be sending out a separate email detailing a refund. If, after September 1st, you feel that you are owed money, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
