We are in the final countdown for the Summer CSA season and we FINALLY have watermelons and muskmelons! Tomatoes are in full force right now and it feels good to have the summer crops producing for us.
No surprise here, but it's still muddy on the farm! We didn't get quite as much rain this week so we've been able to get into the fields to try to catch up with the weeds and get more seeds and plants in the ground.
A note on watermelons or muskmelons you get this week: we do our very best to make sure you are getting a ripe, delicious melon! With all the rain it made it more difficult to assess ripeness and quality, so if you get an unsatisfactory melon, let us know and we will get you another.
