I still can't believe it's a new year!
I have been busy this week putting our crop plan together for an excellent season full of salad greens, spinach, arugula, and more. This is the time of year when I sit down, review what happened in the field last year, and make our fine-tuning adjustments for the year ahead. What worked? What didn't work? What will we do better next time? These questions work for anything in life, and help us become better farmers each year!
One of our dogs, Robin, had puppies last week! The 5 little puppies are incredibly cute and our family can't get enough of them. Robin is a wonderful mother and we are enjoying watching how fast they grow. Robin is a working cattle dog and was bred with another cattle dog (both border collies), so we are finding these pups good homes on ranches where they can use their minds and their bodies in the way their breed was intended.
