Sweet Corn on the Horizon!
We are watching with great anticipation this years sweet corn. Looks like it is about a week out. This year, we have planted a white variety called " Ambrosia " for our first planting. The Deer Have Had a Chard Fest!
The Deer have had a chard fest. They have very good taste! However farmer Andrew is not impressed. We have posted a scare crow like ladder by the patch. So far so good. The patch is starting to return. Yeah! We will keep you posted. The photo is what it used to look like.

About the farm
Sunny Cone Farm is an Organic produce farm that is nestled amongst the rolling hills of Wisconsin’s beautiful driftless region where the soil is fertile and the clean spring water bubbles. The farm owner and manager, Andrew Cone, lives on the farm with his wife Heidi and four of his children. Andrew has managed Sunny Cone Farm since 2007. He is committed to cultivating the very best produce that he possibly can.
