No proud Oklahoman would claim Texas food as "local" ... except during citrus season. For years we've enjoyed the arrival of Texas grapefruit, a crop that they do better than anyone. And it shows up just when our long, dark days grow a little colder, and our produce options at home get a little slimmer.
