March dawned with the most beautiful weather, reminding us that spring produce is just weeks away! Radishes are often first, and some leafy greens, and then the big players follow: asparagus around the first of April, and then strawberries.
So hang in there! Our produce selection this week is lovely and organic, but mostly non-local again. But that should only be the case for a few more weeks!
If you eat meat, we also have hanger steaks on sale. Hangers are a tender, butcher's favorite that doesn't get enough attention from the general public. Like all our beef, they are cut in-house from whole, grass-finished animals from BF Farms.
