Purple-hulled peas are a close cousin of black-eyed peas, and we've got plenty of them this week from Livesay Orchards in Porter. We also have sliced watermelon and cantaloupe this week, also from Livesay.
In days of old you would have had to shell your own peas and slice your own melons, but not today - it's all taken care of for you. The beauty of convenience!
