Hi friends.
SPECIAL THIS WEEK! HARVEST SOUPS, HOLIDAY PIES, FROZEN SWEET CORN!
The autumn season is full of ritual and tradition and we find ourselves called to observe gratitude in our actions and words. We begin to be more intentional about gathering together and remembering what's important: our relationships with each other, the legacy we leave on the earth, and sharing what we have with others.
On the farm, we've had a year of focusing on being kind to ourselves in the sense of not extending ourselves too thinly and, overall, the season has been good to us. Having Debra's sister Angie here made all the difference in our capacity and our ability to envision how CSA might work for us all again. I know she's been happy to be connecting with you, some of whom she first shepherded into our CSA twenty some years ago and some newer but just as important to our farm community.
We hope your families have been enjoying the bounty of our fields.
We happened upon this amazing recipe that you might want to consider for your Thanksgiving table: Roasted Vegetable Stuffed Squash with Maple-Tahini Sauce. Let us know what you think.
We have just a few turkeys available. If you haven't secured yours yet, you can order yours here!
We are so grateful for you,
Hannah
