Hope you liked your selections. Remember you can go back in and redo your preferences at anytime. Also remember that you have until Tuesday at 8am to swap out items once you receive this email. Once 8am Tuesday arrives, the Harvie system generates a pick list for the crew that will precisely fill all orders. Looks like sunny weather for most of the week which is good for our crops still growing in 12 greenhouses. You might have received a bunch of carrots with green tops this week. Carrots harvested in cool weather have exceptional sweetness and taste. We should be able to get one more harvest from that greenhouse. As you've probably heard, just about every CSA in Vermont is sold out for the winter. We added 50 more shares to our CSA this year and still had a waiting list. We feel very fortunate that we had a good enough year despite all the hurdles to supply 210 winter shares. We're also grateful that you chose Walker Farm for your winter produce! See you next week.
