Hard to believe we're half way through the CSA already! We still have lots of fresh greens in the hoop houses and lots of storage crops to finish the season. This week has a packed menu for you to chose from for your holiday dinners including: butternut squash, red & green cabbage, gold potatoes. yellow onions, Gilfeather turnips, sweet potatoes, beets, arugula, kale, salad mix, spinach, parsley and organic carrots from Clearbrook Farm in Shaftsbury, VT. Andy worked with us for 8 years before starting his own farm and he does a very nice job. He had much better luck with his fall carrots than we did and you're sure to love them. We're also putting our frozen corn and some discounted leftover Walpole Creamery ice cream on the "Extras" list.
We could be one of the last places around to have a supply of Christmas trees at our Elysian Hills Tree Farm if you're still looking. Should have them on hand until Christmas Eve.
