Another interesting week on the farm. We got extremely lucky this week with limited damage on the farm from the tropical storm. A few downed trees and some knocked over corn is peanuts compared to some of the stories we have heard from our CSA members.
Farm Happenings:
- Birds the word! They are causing complete havoc on Long Island Sweet Corn right now!
- New well will be put in this week!!!
- Exciting developments for the Future of our CSA!!
- Offering 25LB boxes of Tomatoes this week!! Perfect for canning and sauce!!
- Still have some honey... selling fast so act quick!
Enjoy this week, its already half way through August!! Also, thank you for your understanding this week to some of our issues. We received lots of amazing, kind words, and they were a real boost to our moral and motivation during the dog days of summer, so I cant thank you enough!!
