Another week is in the books. It has been an eventful one to say the least. Started with my little one busting up her eyebrow and needing some stiches too us losing 10% of our chickens to fox's and racoons. But, the good news is, kids are resilient, and mother nature is going to bless us with some much needed rain Monday and we have the best looking sprouts we have ever grown! Ya, rough week for the chickens to say the least.
Farm Happenings this week:
- We are 2/3rds done with potato harvest!
- Cauliflower, Broccoli, and Sprouts look amazing!
- Rain is coming!
- Farmer Jackie will be announcing Farm Yoga classes in the greenhouse this week!!
- Jackie had a great turnout this week at her yoga, pick/create your own flower bouquet class!
I want to thank you again for supporting us! As we are in a 'holiday' weekend, many grocery stores have sales on produce. Several stores advertised "fresh Canadian Cauliflower"!!! WHAT!?, yup, that's the wild world we live in. SO THANK YOU FOR ALLOWING US TO TO WHAT WE LOVE!
