Happy Labor Day weekend! Hope you get plenty of time to relax and enjoy with the company of loved ones.
We got lucky again with the remnants of Hurricane Ida this week. Yes we got 3 inches of rain, and some corn got flattened, but not to far away they received way more rain and destruction that could have greatly effected Long Island farms.
To the members who jumped on the Saturday Pop-up Box, thank you and I cant wait to get our hands on those Lobsters. I say its not an official summer until you have lobsters at least once, so it will be the first time for us and we are excited!
To the families with school aged kids; best of luck this year as weird times continue for school aged kids.
We are bringing an out of towner in for this week! Yup, you guessed it. Our fisherman are bringing in wild caught Alaskan Salmon!! This isn't the farm raised salmon you see in stores. This is wild salmon swinging the waters of Alaska! We are super excited about this and hope you try.
Enjoy your weekend and thank you for being part of our farming family!
