The first week of May is in the books! We got a little tease with Thursday being absolutely perfect outside but we are quickly back in reality with some gloomy weather for the start of the weekend. We are actually very happy for the rain coming as our fields dried out very fast over the past 2 weeks and a little water on the 50 acres of potatoes we planted would be amazing. Also, we had a diesel fuel delivery yesterday for our irrigation wells and we had mini heart attacks. So, we will be preforming weekly rain dances to keep mother nature happy!
Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there! Where would we be if it wasn't for these amazing women! I can't thank my mom enough for always being there for us growing up and being there for her grandkids now! Also, I can not thank my wife Miki enough for keeping our lives in order to the best of our abilities, especially during planting spring season while running her own Optometry practice, and raising our 4, 2 and 4 month old! She truly is a super women!
Enjoy the weekend and Happy Mother's Day
