Another busy week has come and gone on the farm. We are just about finished with our pasture infrastructure set up and we ran into a little problem now, that the grasses are too big! A little pivot but we will figure it out. We will be hilling up potatoes this weekend, this means we are making the mounds the potatoes will live in for their gowning season.
It is Long Island Strawberry season!! I feel like it kind of snuck up on us this year. If you didn't know Long Island strawberries are world class berries! The flavor of fresh strawberries can not be beat! The only issue we have is the shelf life of real berries is very short and they must be eaten ASAP, which isn't a problem for most people.
