Farm Happenings for May 9, 2023

Posted on May 5th, 2023 by John Zilnicki

Well we finished planting potatoes last Friday before all the rain and we are so thankful we did.  I always say, mother nature evens out the scales and we went from very dry to very wet real fast.  We are supper thankful for these rain and now we are ready for some real May weather.

If you have the green thumb, I would say we are in the clear for your plants.  We did have middle 30's this past week and many people got excited when we had 80 degree weather the other week but, mother nature just wanted to tease us and we know a bunch of people who planted and will have to replant because their plants were damaged from cold and rain.  Stop down to our farmstand as we have a wide array of herbs, annuals, perennials, and much much more!

Have a great weekend and enjoy this sunshine!

Your farmer,

John
