Another soggy Saturday is upon us and its actually getting comical. I feel bad for all the farms that go heavy for the fall festivities and are getting hammered with this weather.
We had a solid week of digging potatoes at another field. This field brought about many challenges from heavy clay soil, lots of rocks, deer damage, and some minor breakdowns. We prevailed and are about 95% done harvesting this difficult field until mother nature chased us out. We have 1 more field to go next week and I can't wait to be done harvesting. This time of the year is full of long days, lots of dirty clothes, and a true test of our grit and resilience.
