Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? Time is flying by and it is time to prepare and stock up for one of my favorite holidays. We have a few items in stock that we have been patiently waiting for like sweet potatoes, purple and cheddar cauliflowers, and sprouts. We also will have white potatoes, russet potatoes, and everyone's favorite the Yukon (yellow) potatoes.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holiday's. It signifies an end to a farming season, where family who has been busy all season can all come together and share some laughs and fill our bellies. It is also a time to reflect on what we are grateful for and we have many blessings. We have all heard, "Thank a farmer," but I came across a picture and it is spot on. It says, "if you farmed today, thank a consumer." This is spot on and we at Zilnicki Farms can not thank you enough for all your support and choosing us to be your farmer. It means the world to us, and without you we would not be able to do what we love.
