The next batch of black angus cows arrived on the farm this weekend. They will be spending some time on our pastures where they will absolutely love the 'spring flush' of fresh pasture growth. Our cattle are grass fed and grass finished, not finished on grain or gmo corn that you normally receive in the grocery store.
We finished planting our potatoes last weekend and we finished around 46 acres total planted. That means everyone needs to eat more potatoes in the fall!
The greenhouses are lush and we will start introducing our vegetables to the outside world to harden them off. The nights are still cool so we all need to be careful with shock for the tender plants.
