Another solid week on the farm full of irrigation, fixing old equipment, and lots of sweating. But don't worry, the heat and humidity help us knock off those winter LBS we put on. Reminder to all my gardeners, yes your plants need lots of water during these hot summer days, but they also need nutrients and fertilizer of some sorts. They need that food to keep growing strong to become the best food for you.
If your looking for something to do this weekend the Long Island Antique Power Authority next to Hallock Ville Farm museum has their annual summer show. Its a fun exhibition of old equipment and even a tractor pull.
Have a great weekend!
Your Farmer,
John
